Hi, I am Katie and welcome to my blog.

I used to write a lot when I was younger, started and stopped and picked it back up. I decided this year I was going to take writing and blogging more seriously because it’s something I love to do.

A little about me, well I am originally from Scotland and I moved to New Zealand in 2016 which was only ment to be a year long adventure well that’s turned into 7years and I am waiting to become a resident. I live just outside of Wellington with my boyfriend and our two fur babies Kiwi and Archer.

I love New Zealand but I’ve found over the years ill done less travelling and more working and creating a life, a home and travelling and exploring just got put on the back burner.

Wellington is such a cool city. It’s chilled, creative and unique. There’s coffee and craft beer everywhere you look, a variety of different restaurants. There’s art work everywhere you turn, it’s on the water so the views and sunrises and sunsets and beautiful. Sometimes you can even see the South Island.

New Zealand itself has so much offer, mountains for hiking, skiing and snowboarding, movie landmarks to explore such as Lord of the Rings, Mission Impossible, Avatar and more. Beautiful vineyards up and down the country for those long weekends and luncheon day trips.

Some much food to try, pies….so many pies and pie flavours! To pineapple lumps and Wellington hosts not one chocolate factory but at least three. So many different and inclusive restaurants such as only vegan restaurants to a cafe that has taken into consideration all types of allergies for example they are a nut free restaurant, to yummy usher places, sushi trains and restaurants that turn into clubs(weird but it works)
